Over 50 individuals, companies and organizations are already on board for the Elmvale Water Festival 2008, which will take place August 16 at Elmvale Arena & Fairgrounds in Elmvale, Ont.Confirmed speakers include Mary Jane Conboy, executive director of the Well Wise Centre in Orono, Ont. and Robert J. Dell, president of the water SCH2OOL, a not for profit organization based in Alberta that focuses on water purification techniques for developing countries.
The inaugural event in 2007 raised over $20,000 for the Elmvale Foundation, an organization created to educate the public, business, educators and politicians on environmental issues involving the pedosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere and atmosphere.
