The Centre for Inland Waters Hydraulics Laboratory and the Wastewater Technology Centre have received funding from the feds.

More than $7.5 million over the next two years will modernize facilities for three federal laboratories (the other is the Guelph Food Research Centre): Inland Waters will receive just over $4.1 million, and Wastewater will see over $2.3 million.

“This funding will provide jobs for workers ranging from retrofitting laboratory space to meet new and future research activities to refurbishing sewage lines and upgrading laboratory stations to accommodate modern equipment,” said Minister Diane Finley.
