As awareness of the importance of water to our future grows, so do the challenges of managing this essential resource. However, with challenges can come opportunities for both innovation and action. What is the state of knowledge in water management and what are the key Canadian and global opportunities? Hosted by the Canadian Water Network, Connecting Water Resources 2011 will provide participants with critical insight into leading water research and practice and will highlight the national and international researchers and practitioners who are discovering solutions and applying them for best water management.
