It’s one month until World Water Day, and all over the globe businesses and organizations are ramping up with plans to spread awareness on this year’s theme: water quality. Yesterday, EcoWater Canada pledged its support, announcing that a portion of every sale in the month of March will be donated to AMREF Canada and the Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health in their goals to bring clean, safe drinking water to people in Canada and around the world.

And that’s not all. This morning, I received EcoWater’s charming comic, EcoRilla: The Story of Our Water (see above) that teaches kids about water stewardship, with a rundown of the water cycle, touching on conservation, treatment, health and quality. EcoWater is the first company to receive the zerofootprint Certificate of Compliance for water treatment products. Its distributors across Canada will have the comics available at home shows and within their communities.

What are you doing for World Water Day? We’d love to hear from you.
