Engineering and consulting group SNC-Lavalin has acquired Aqua Data, a company of about 100 employees specializing in the computerized diagnosis and analysis of water distribution systems and wastewater collection systems for municipal, commercial and industrial clients. Formerly a subsidiary of Gaz Métro, Aqua Data has clients in Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes and the United States. Its head office is in Pincourt, Quebec, near Montreal.
