Imagine H2O, a San Francisco-based non-profit organization providing a path-to-market platform for early-stage water technology companies, has announced that its 2013 Food & Agriculture Competition is accepting applications from water entrepreneurs worldwide. The entry period closes November 15, and winners will be announced March 22, 2014.

Imagine H2O’s Food & Agriculture Program supports emerging water businesses that value the improved use, treatment, supply, or discharge of water in the food and agriculture sector. The winning startups will be introduced to Beta Customers within the sector, such as Sun-Maid, Wawona Frozen Foods, and Woolf Farming, among others. The program also offers winners cash prizes and in-kind professional services, access to Imagine H2O’s Accelerator Program, feedback from a panel of investors and market experts, and market visibility in trade journals and at major industry events.
