The Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH) president and general manager Ralph Suppa announced on Sept. 5 that Michael Prencipe will join CIPH as its manager of operations. In his new role, Prencipe will be responsible for ongoing management of all operations and service areas including office administration and accounting/finance. He will also oversee the CIPH membership committee, Canadian Association of Pump Manufacturers, and assist with marketing and communication initiatives.

“This is a new position which will enable me to spend more time on the business versus in the business, meaning that I will have increased capacity to provide more strategically oriented leadership for the benefit of members and the industry in terms of meeting with members along with provincial and federal governments. Michael’s background and skill set will serve him well in providing leadership and in working with CIPH volunteers, members, and partners,” Suppa stated.

Prencipe has a B.A. in political science and history from the University of Toronto. He has more than 20 years of experience in administration, marketing, and communications in both the not-for-profit and private sectors.
