The Water Research and Innovation Network (WRAIN) has hired Kirk Wong as its new project manager. Wong, an environmental business development professional, has experience overseeing project management for industrial and commercial operations, and has a background in advanced academic chemistry and environmental expertise. He has previously worked at Environment Canada, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, and Watters Environmental Group.

WRAIN is a non-profit organization that provides access to municipal demonstration sites for groups that want to pilot and test water innovations. By giving access to more than 250 lakes and rivers, six wastewater treatment facilities, and 21 drinking water facilities, WRAIN helps to accelerate market adoption of new water technologies through collaboration and demonstration sites.

In his new role, Wong will manage projects for the more than 30 companies interested in showcasing their water innovations.
