H2O Innovation Inc. announced that it was awarded 5 new contracts across Canada, in Nunavut, Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec, to provide water and wastewater facilities in both the public and private sectors. The company was also secured 2 contracts in the U.S. These new contracts bring the company’s projected sales backlog to $42.2 million with respect to its $99.1 million consolidated backlog.
In Nunavut, H2O Innovation Inc. will provide a potable water system and wastewater treatment system, each treating 39.63 gpm (216 m3/day) for a 400-person workers’ camp at a mining site in Nunavut.
The wastewater system will be use a proprietary containerized membrane bioreactor (CMBR) process combining the use of advanced biological processes and submerged membranes. Systems using this process create high quality effluent capable of meeting the most stringent effluent requirements. Using the CMBR enables faster system integration and delivery, reduces footprint, and provides better effluent quality.
H2O Innovation Inc. will provide an ultrafiltration system producing 550.36 gpm (3000 m3/day) of potable water to an oil company in Alberta. This system will feed the steam generator and act as the pre-treatment to their existing nanofiltration plant.
The remaining 5 contracts are in the municipal and industrial sectors. Disraeli, Quebec, has awarded H2O Innovation with a contract to provide a drinking water system capable of producing 330.22 gpm (1800 m3/day) for the municipality. H2O Innovation’s expertise in the municipal sector drew Disraeli’s attention.
Additionally, H2O Innovation will provide Hydro-Québec with a custom-built water treatment system that will produce drinking water for the employees of the La Romaine 3 hydroelectric power plant, located on the North Shore of Quebec. H2O Innovation will also supply a drinking water system for Slate Falls First Nation, Manitoba.
