Ontario’s Water Technology  Acceleration Project (WaterTAP) has updated their website with a new design and layout, but also valuable tools to help visitors discover partners, funding sources, and other business growth opportunities.

The new site boasts cleaner navigation, revamped content, a more powerful search engine, and practical industry tools designed to deliver an improved user experience to support the growth of our industry. The latest version of WaterTAP’s Ontario Water Technology Business Directory connects users to a robust, searchable database of hundreds of companies that offer innovative solutions.

The directory presently contains 378 Ontario businesses that can be refined by a search function, sector cluster, or end user function. WaterTAP believes the directory will continue to be an indispensable resource for building networks and identifying partnership opportunities.

Additionally, Ontario companies can now search WaterTAP’s Funding Opportunities database for grants that apply to hiring new employees, engaging in export activities, and supporting a variety of project types. As well, businesses seeking partnerships to pursue technology demonstration, validation, and other undertakings can use this tool to identify opportunities. There are currently 148 opportunities in the database. Your search can be refined by funding type, partner requirements, or company and project locations.

Part of WaterTAP’s website update is to provide a more effective venue to release the latest news, events, jobs, and success stories that showcase Ontario as a vital player in the global movement to secure healthy water resources for future generations.

Both of the new databases are works in progress and will be updated on a regular basis, according to WaterTAP. If you notice glitches, errors, or omissions, they request that you contact them.
